Meet the Team

Julian is the founder and Director of Woodstock IT. With almost 25 years in the industry, he has led the company from its early days of break-fix support to a mature, security-focused Managed Service Provider. He works closely with clients to align technology to business goals, placing a strong emphasis on cyber security. Outside of work, Julian enjoys playing poker, cooking, music, and spending time with his sight hounds!

Joachim’s love for computers started at a young age, when his grandad filled an entire garage with old machines. At just 8 years old, he was already taking things apart and figuring out how to make them work again and that curiosity never left him.

Joachim Cilliers, also known as “Yogi” or “Joggie,” is passionate about helping people and fixing things, whether it’s computers, cars, or anything in between. He takes a hands on, practical approach and enjoys finding creative solutions, always looking to repair and repurpose rather than replace.

He has a strong interest in classic cars and motorbikes and thrives on solving problems, whether technical or mechanical. That mindset carries through into every job, focusing on reliable, cost-effective results that last.

Outside of work, Joachim is a proud supporter of the Springboks and enjoys a good braai with friends and Family, which reflects his down-to-earth and approachable nature.

Dave Hearn is a dedicated Service Desk Manager known for his practical mindset, calm problem solving approach, and commitment to improving operational efficiency. He brings clarity to complex issues and has a natural talent for simplifying processes so teams can work smarter. Colleagues value his reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership of difficult challenges. Whether refining documentation, improving monitoring, or developing scripts that make life easier for others, Dave consistently focuses on delivering real, measurable improvements. His blend of technical understanding, thoughtful communication, and steady leadership makes him a trusted and respected figure in his field.

I’ve always loved diving into computers, software, and the hardware that makes everything work. Over the years, I’ve built strong troubleshooting skills, supported by my previous career as a production engineer building spectrometers. That background taught me precision, problem‑solving, and how complex systems fit together. I enjoy exploring new technology as it emerges, constantly tinkering with the latest software and hardware just to see what’s possible. Curiosity drives me, and I’m happiest when taking things apart, understanding how they work, and putting them back together better than before. I also like have pint with friends down the local pub playing videogames

I am someone who finds joy in simple, meaningful moments. I love walking, especially when it gives me space to relax and take in the world around me. Holidays are another passion, offering chances to explore new places and unwind from daily routines. I enjoy listening to live music of any sort.

At home, my two cats bring warmth, personality, and endless entertainment into my life.

Adam is your go-to guy when you need something sorted. With a natural ability for problem solving, from computer issues to everyday challenges, he brings a calm, can-do attitude to everything he tackles. Friendly, approachable, and always happy to help, whether it’s a straightforward task or something that needs a bit more thought, you’ll be in good hands with Adam. When he’s not busy helping others, you’ll find him unwinding with a good gaming session or catching the latest UFC or boxing event.

Oliver Humpidge, known as Oli to most, is our Project Team Lead. Oli loves getting hands-on with new IT tools and is always building his skills to stay ahead of the curve. He’s detail-focused and takes pride in making sure every project is delivered to your satisfaction. When he’s not keeping projects on track, you’ll likely find him gaming or painting and playing Warhammer.

Jake Spurrier has been interested in technology from a young age, starting with his first gaming console and later his first PC. This early interest led him to help friends and family fix their devices, eventually progressing to building his own PC.

As he has grown, this passion has developed into a career at Woodstock. He began working in the workshop and has since progressed to a Help Desk Engineer role. Jake genuinely enjoys his job and the people he works with on a daily basis. He is always happy to assist with any issues, and each day provides an opportunity for him to continue learning and improving his skills to better support others in the future.

I am Adam Reigate; I’m a passionate and driven individual dedicated to delivering high-quality work and meaningful results. With a strong focus on creativity, reliability, and continuous growth, I take pride in approaching every project with professionalism and attention to detail. I enjoy solving problems, learning new skills, and adapting to challenges in a fast-paced environment. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I aim to bring value, integrity, and a positive mindset to everything I do.
